By using Delighting, you’re agreeing to these terms. We’ve kept them short and plain. If anything here is unclear, write us at hello@delighting.ai.
What Delighting is — and isn’t
Delighting is a faith-centered AI companion. Its responses are generated by large language models grounded in Christian thought, with a separate safety classifier that flags signs of crisis. It is not a substitute for a pastor, spiritual director, therapist, doctor, lawyer, or any other professional. Use of the service implies agreement that AI output is informational, not authoritative, and that you remain responsible for your own decisions.
If you’re in a crisis, please reach out to local help. In the United States, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) any time, day or night.
Your account
You need to be at least 13 years old to create an account. You’re responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your sign-in method secure. If your account is compromised, tell us so we can help.
You can close your account at any time from Settings. We can suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or that put other people at risk.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Delighting to:
- Harm yourself or others, or threaten to do so.
- Probe the safety system, jailbreak the model, or attempt to extract its instructions for unsafe purposes.
- Impersonate another person or claim affiliation with any organization you don’t actually represent.
- Generate or distribute content that’s illegal where you live or where we operate.
- Scrape, resell, or train other models on output from this service.
- Interfere with the service’s operation — including, but not limited to, denial-of-service, automated abuse, or attempting to access another user’s data.
Content you create
Your conversations, journal entries, and preferences are yours. We store them so you can come back to them, and we encrypt them as described in the Privacy policy. We don’t train models on your content. We grant you a license to use the AI output we generate for you. The AI output isn’t guaranteed to be accurate or original, so use your own judgment.
Service availability
We do our best to keep the service running. We don’t guarantee uninterrupted access; we may take it down for maintenance, security, or because something broke. We’ll restore it as quickly as we can.
Changes to the service or these terms
The product will keep changing. So might these terms. If we change them materially, we’ll update the date at the top of this page and (where we have an email for you) tell you by email. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
Disclaimers and limits
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties (including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement), and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. None of this is intended to limit any right you have that cannot be waived under your local law.
