Signing in to Delighting

Signing in keeps your conversations and your journal with you, wherever you open Delighting. Here is how it works.

How signing in works

Tap or click Sign in from the header to begin. You can also head straight to your chat or journal; if you are not signed in yet, we will gently bring you to the sign-in page first.

Sign-in happens on a secure, hosted page. You will not type your password into Delighting itself. Instead, we hand you off to a trusted sign-in partner who verifies that it is really you, then brings you right back.

Depending on how your account is set up, you may sign in with email, a sign-in link sent to your inbox, a password, or an account you already trust like Apple or Google. Once you are verified, you land back in Delighting, signed in and ready to talk.

We bring you back to where you were headed

If you were on your way to your journal or a conversation when we asked you to sign in, we remember that. After you finish signing in, we return you to that page rather than dropping you somewhere generic.

We only return you to pages inside Delighting, never to an outside link. That keeps the sign-in flow safe.

What an account unlocks

Signing in keeps your work with you. Your conversations and your private journal travel with your account, so you can pick up where you left off across your devices.

Without an account, you can still look around, but anything you start stays only on that one screen and is not saved to you. Signing in is what makes Delighting remember you.

Signing out

To sign out, use the Sign out option in the header, or open Settings, then Account, then Sign out.

Signing out ends your session on the device you are using. If you are signed in on more than one device, the others stay signed in for now. The ability to sign out everywhere at once is something we are still building.
