Delete your account
You can delete your Delighting account and everything in it yourself, in the app or on the website, in a minute.
Delete it yourself
1. Sign in to Delighting, in the app or at delighting.ai.
2. Open Settings, then Daily Word, and scroll to the Account section.
3. Choose Delete my account, read what will be removed, and type “delete my account” to confirm.
You are signed out as soon as it is done.
What is deleted
Your profile, conversations, journal entries, Daily Word history, push subscriptions and preferences.
They are removed from our active systems within 30 days. Encrypted backups roll out of retention within 90 days. Hashed security logs, without raw IP addresses, may be kept longer to prevent fraud and abuse.
If you change your mind
For 30 days after you delete, signing back in restores your account in full. After that it cannot be recovered.
Keep the account, delete some data
You can delete journal entries, prayers and saved verses one at a time without closing your account. You can also export your data first, from the same Account section.
Can’t sign in?
Email privacy@delighting.ai from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We confirm it is you, then do the same deletion.
